In line with British Cycling Covid-19 guidance, it is now possible for CCA to recommence a limited range of cycling activities – these include group rides and training events where the total size of the group including coaching staff does not exceed 6.
Groups must also adhere to social distancing requirements as directed by the Government.
All events must have a log of attendees (either taken by the coach or logged in advance on the forum) for track and trace purposes.
No one should consider riding in a group if they remain within a 'shielded' or high-risk group or if they are showing symptoms / currently self-isolating.
Competitive Time Trials, such as CCA’s evening 10 series, remain suspended by the sport’s governing bodies until at least 12th July. CCA will endeavour to put on races again following the go-ahead by the governing bodies, provided that the appropriate risk assessments and insurances are in place.
